The Woodland Scenics Just Plug Warm White Stick-On LED Lights JP5740 provide two warm white lights for model buildings and dioramas. The Stick-On format is intended for straightforward mounting at a suitable location inside your model.
Their warm white light has a yellow undertone that can give a house, small restaurant or station building a welcoming appearance. These are the same type of lights supplied with the Lights & Hub Set JP5700. This separate pack is useful for expanding that set or assembling your own combination around a Light Hub.
How do you illuminate a model building with these LEDs? Try a position beneath the roof or above an interior first. View the result through the windows and adjust the position before mounting the light permanently. The location of the light source determines which parts of the room stand out and where shadows appear.
Each LED has a 60.9 cm cable and draws 25mA. Connect the lights to a compatible Just Plug hub with a suitable power supply. For a larger installation, account for the combined current consumption of all connected lights. The hub and power supply are not included.
The JP5740 suits beginners lighting a building without complex wiring and experienced modellers treating several interiors individually. Keep cables and connections accessible while testing the arrangement. With a dimmable Light Hub, you can then match brightness to the character of each room.
