Vallejo Pigment Set Rust & Corrosion contains 4 jars of pigment 35ml. With this set of pigments can be emulated, inter alia, corrosion and oxidation. Pigments are used to create parent and defenses armor, vehicles and buildings; they are ideal for applying eg dirt, dust and smoke effects as if it comes from years of erosion.

The pigments chosen for this product range are all earth and iron oxides and therefore extra suitable for all geographic and climatic environments. They are specially ground, making them easy to handle with a liquid medium, water and glaze and even turpentine.

In order to make pigments adhere to the surfaces of objects is used mostly matt varnish or Glaze medium. The Glaze medium dries more slowly and is therefore, for example, perfect for simulating spore in the water and snow, and to apply the pigment to all sides of the object.

Other effects that can be achieved include oil and grease stains by mixing them with transparent water or Sandy Paste to gross, to create rough surfaces such as dried mud or gross rust.

Earth and iron oxide pigments are not toxic, but to avoid unnecessary waste, the containers are fitted with child-resistant closure. The pigments are supplied in 30 ml. pots in which the weight of the pigments can vary from 17 to 39 grams.
