Vallejo Game Color Charred Brown is part of the Game Color program of the Vallejo brand and is a dark brown acrylic paint in a 17ml. eyedropper jar.
The color of Vallejo Game Color Charred Brown (72.045) is similar to: Citadel Base Dryad Bark 21-23; Citadel Scorched Brown 61-12; Reaper Master Series Paints Muddy Brown 9028; Vallejo Model Color German Camouflage 70822; Rackham: Dirty Leather (20); Formula P3: Umbral umber.
The Game Color series uses a new, strong resin of unparalleled quality that is abrasion and scratch resistant. This program is specially designed to contain the most commonly used colors for fantasy figures in a formula that adheres well to plastics and metals. The Game Color formula consists of permanent pigments for gaming paintwork; this dark brown color is also completely lightfast and opaque, except for the fluorescent and transparent colors that are semi-opaque.
The structure makes the paint ideal for both small details and large areas. Game Color is manufactured according to EEC standards and is neither flammable nor toxic in normal use. This dark brown color can be easily applied with a brush and dries to a matt result. This dark brown Game Color contains a high pigment content, is lightfast and waterproof when dry. Errors can be corrected with water or a little alcohol, provided this is done immediately.
The unique thing about this dark brown paint is that it comes in a so-called "eyedropper" jar containing 17ml. acrylic paint. The "eyedropper" ensures that the amount of paint can be dosed very easily and that the paint does not dry out so quickly. Of course, it can always happen that the opening sometimes gets a little clogged. You can easily solve this by using a needle or thin cocktail stick to clear the opening.
