Citadel Spiritstone Red belongs to the Citadel technical paint range with a number of gemstone paints. There are three colors: Soulstone Blue, Waystone Green and Spiritstone Red.

The most important thing to do first of all is to paint the gems in a very bright metallic color. It's very important that you do that for this to work.

For example, paint a gem to stormhost silver so you can see that it is very clear and really shiny. When you apply Spiritstone Red paint to it, apply it as a blob to the base of the gem, then pull it up so you get more color at the top, giving you a richer red color at the top of each gem.
