Citadel Soulstone Blue belongs to the Citadel technical paint range with a number of gemstone paints. There are two more colors: Spiritstone Red and Waystone Green.

The most important thing to do first of all is to paint the gemstones in a very bright metallic color. It's very important that you do that for this to work.

For example, paint a gemstone to Stormhost Silver so you can see that it is very clear and really shiny. When you apply Soulstone Blue paint to it, apply it as a blob to the base of the gem, then pull it up so you get more color on the top, giving you a richer blue color on the top of each gem.
