Scalecolor has excellent adhesion to all surfaces. Once the grey green metallic paint is protected with varnish (Gloss, Matte or Satin) Scalecolor can be painted over with solvent based paints such as enamels or oil paints. The paint is fantastic to use for standard layering and blending, but is also very useful as a glaze due to the perfect amount of pigment that is used. The medium that is used for this grey green metallic acrylic paint colour has a super matte finish, but is quite thick so we advise to use an agitator ball and shake well before use. The paint dries quite quickly and can be a little more difficult to work with for a novice painter due to the thickness of the medium, but it does give a great result. Colours can be mixed or thinned with water or any medium such as varnish, to get the desired effect. In this way it is also possible to work the paint with an airbrush. The paint hardly clumps.
This metallic color has a soft sheen, because it is part of the Metal 'n Alchemy series of Scale75 paints. The sheen of this gray-green metallic color is fantastic and is considered one of the best metallic acrylic paints.
The unique thing about this grey-green metallic paint is that it comes in a so-called "eyedropper" jar containing 17ml. acrylic paint. The "eyedropper" ensures that the amount of paint can be dosed very easily and that the paint does not dry out so quickly. Of course, it can always happen that the opening sometimes gets a little clogged. You can easily solve this by using a needle or thin cocktail stick to clear the opening.
