Citadel Nihilakh Oxide is designed to give a coppery effect on bronze and copper, and looks especially good when a model is predominantly one of those two colors. Shake it well before using it.
The first thing you notice is that it looks a lot like a wash or shade. It's not because it actually has a much more chalky texture.
Be sure to paint it in all the details and all the cutouts. If you have any excess, wipe it off with a little tissue, then wipe down to simulate water running out.
So grab a pot and try painting it on bronze.
