AK interactive Acrylic Modelling Colors Pale Blue is part of the 3rd Generation program of the brand AK interactive, specially developed for the brush and the airbrush and is a pale blue acrylic paint in a 17ml. eyedropper jar with patented cap.
Acrylic paint is the most widely used paint for model builders worldwide. It is non-toxic, but most acrylic paints use resin, which means they quickly clog the nozzle of an airbrush and do not adhere well. Not this paint! AK interactive acrylic modeling colors are specially developed for the world of model building. This pale blue paint has a high opacity and a lot of pigment and is specially made so that it can be applied with a brush and an airbrush.
The high opacity of this pale blue water-based paint is superior to any other product. Most other paints currently contain a cellulose and resin medium that, when diluted with water, will cause the paint to no longer cover or clog the airbrush. The paint has a shorter drying time, a higher colour intensity and a more matt finish. The composition of the medium of this paint ensures that the airbrush will no longer clog or that you will get streaks in your paint when you apply it with a brush. The smallest details are retained and the strength of the paint ensures that it can also withstand a knock or even be touched by hand, for example in wargaming.
The pale blue paint can be applied directly from the pot to the model with a brush without having to shake it to mix the pigments because a special medium is used that ensures that the pigments and the medium always remain mixed.
The new formula uses high performance resin, contains high quality pigments and meets European safety guidelines, ensuring that no harmful substances have been used that pose a risk to the health of the user and the environment. The unique character of the specially developed cap of this 17ml eyedropper bottle ensures that by pouring a drop of paint into it, the dried color of the paint is always easy to see and therefore the right color is always chosen.
Once the pale blue paint is dry, the color is permanent and water-resistant. Oil paint, enamel, washes or other mediums can then be applied over this paint without affecting the pale blue paint. The new patented cap makes it easy to open the jar and the white neutral color ensures that any paint on it remains visible. Use the hole on top of the cap to let a drop of pale blue paint flow into it. Make sure that the pale blue paint is evenly distributed. Once the paint is dry, it is always easy to find the right pale blue color in your collection.
