Scalecolor has excellent adhesion to all surfaces. Once the brown metallic paint is protected with varnish (Gloss, Matte or Satin) Scalecolor can be painted over with solvent based paints such as enamels or oil paints. Colors can be mixed or thinned with water or any medium such as varnish to achieve the desired effect. This way it is also possible to apply the paint with an airbrush. The paint hardly clumps. The paint is fantastic to use for standard layering and blending, but is also very useful as a glaze due to the perfect amount of pigment that is used. The paint dries quite quickly and can be a bit more difficult for a beginning painter to work with due to the thickness of the medium, but it does give a great result. The medium used for this brown metallic acrylic paint color has a super matte finish, but is quite thick so we recommend using an agitator ball and shaking well before use.
This metallic color has a soft sheen, because it is part of the Metal 'n Alchemy series of Scale75 paints. The sheen of this brown metallic color is fantastic and is considered one of the best metallic acrylic paints.
The "eyedropper" (or eye dropper) ensures that the amount of paint can be dosed very easily and that the paint does not dry out so quickly. The unique thing about this brown metallic paint is that it is supplied in a so-called "eyedropper" jar containing 17ml. acrylic paint. Of course, it can always happen that the opening sometimes gets a little clogged. You can easily solve this by using a needle or thin cocktail stick to clear the opening.
