Shipping

We ship on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If you place your order before 3:00 PM (CET) on one of these days, we’ll do our best to ship it the same day. Within the Netherlands, DHL usually delivers the next working day.

Please note: your order may be delayed in the following situations:

• Official holidays may cause a delay of 1 business day, as carriers do not collect or deliver parcels on these days. For example: if a public holiday falls on a Monday, your order placed on Sunday will be delivered on Wednesday.

• Out-of-stock items: If an item turns out to be (partially) out of stock, we will contact you. In most cases, we will offer an alternative, ship the rest of your order, and refund the unavailable item.

• Bank transfer payments: If you choose bank transfer as your payment method, your order will be shipped as soon as we receive the payment. Payments are processed automatically once received.

• Logistical exceptions: Extreme weather or sorting errors at the carrier may cause a delay. These issues are usually resolved within 48 hours. If this is too late for you, you may refuse the delivery; the package will be returned to us automatically and you will receive a full refund.

• Payments just before 3:00 PM: Some banks may take a few minutes to confirm your payment. If your payment is made at 2:55 PM but is not confirmed until after 3:00 PM, your order will be postponed to the next shipping day.

* = The actual delivery date depends on our carrier (DHL). If any issues occur, we will notify you as soon as possible. If you haven’t received your package or experience any problems, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Shipping and packaging costs
We charge a fixed fee for shipping and packaging. The exact cost is shown during checkout. For deliveries within the Netherlands, shipping starts at €6.95 (depending on weight). We offer free shipping within the Netherlands and Belgium for orders over €100. For more information, feel free to email [email protected].

DHL
Parcels shipped within the Netherlands via DHL usually arrive within 1 (occasionally 2) working days after handoff to the carrier.

Shipping costs via DHL start at €6.95 (depending on weight). You will receive a Track & Trace code from us once we have handed your parcel to DHL. Shipping to Belgium and Germany is based on weight and starts from €8.00.

Payment Methods
We accept a variety of payment methods: iDEAL, PayPal, bank transfer, and MasterCard/Visa.

Returns and Defects
Despite our great care, it may happen that a product is defective or you receive the wrong item. In such cases, you can submit a return request through your account via our ticket system.

Returns and Exchanges
We strive to provide all the necessary product information. If a product does not meet your expectations, it can be returned or exchanged. Please submit a ticket (via your account) including your order number and the product(s) you wish to return or exchange.

The following conditions apply to returns and/or exchanges:

• Items must be registered for return via our ticket system within 60 business days of receipt.
• Items must be returned in original, unused condition, with tags and original packaging intact.
• A fully completed return form must be included. One is provided with your order. Alternatively, you can download one here.
• Items bought on sale with a 40% discount or more may only be cancelled within the statutory reflection period and cannot be exchanged.
• Return shipping is free. If you return the entire order, we will also refund the original shipping costs.
• Returned items must be sent back promptly, and no later than 60 business days after receipt. Scenery Workshop BV only accepts returns that are properly registered and comply with the return instructions. Unregistered or late returns will not be accepted. You will receive email confirmation upon return registration and once we have received the item(s).
