Vallejo Model Color
The Model Color program contains a huge range of colors and also has an interesting collection of mediums and varnishes specially designed for Miniature and Model painting. The colors have been chosen with the help and advice of the best model painters from different countries.
The Model Color formula consists of permanent pigments for detailed work; all colors are completely lightfast and opaque, with the exception of the fluorescent and transparent colors that are semi-opaque.
The consistency of Model Color provides an extremely smooth and sleek paint film without any traces of brush strokes. Professional model painters always work with a wet brush and dilute the paint with water and matte medium, after which they apply it in different thin layers to simulate depth and shadows.
Vallejo Model Color Dilute
Colors can also be diluted with other Mediums to achieve glazes and other layer applications. Errors can be corrected with water or with a little alcohol, if this is done immediately. The colors are easy to apply with a brush and dry to a matte result.
Eyedropper (17 ml.)
The unique thing about Vallejo paints is that they are delivered in a so-called "eyedropper" jar in which 17 ml. paint. Thanks to this "eyedropper" you can easily dose the amount of paint and the paint does not dry out so quickly. Of course it is always possible that the opening sometimes gets a bit clogged. You can easily solve this by clearing the opening again with a needle or a thin cocktail stick.
