Vallejo Model Color German Camouflage Medium Brown is part of the Model Color program from the Vallejo brand and is a dark brown acrylic paint in a 17ml. eyedropper jar.
The Model Color program contains a huge range of colors and also has an interesting collection of mediums and varnishes specially designed for Miniature and Model painting. The colors have been chosen with the help and advice of the best model painters from different countries. The Model Color formula consists of permanent pigments for detailed work; this dark brown color is also completely lightfast and opaque, with the exception of the fluorescent and transparent colors that are semi-opaque.
Professional model painters always work with a wet brush and dilute the paint with water and matte medium, after which they apply it in different thin layers to simulate depth and shadows. The consistency of Model Color ensures an extremely smooth and sleek paint film without any traces of brush strokes. The dark brown color can be easily applied with a brush and dried to a matt result. This dark brown color can also be diluted with other mediums to achieve glazes and other layer applications. Errors can be corrected with water or with a little alcohol, if this is done immediately.
Designed with the cooperation of the Panzer Aces Magazine, with this series Model Color paints Vallejo has a collection of truthful colors for the uniforms of the soldiers during the second world war WWII. This dark brown color is also part of it.
The uniqueness of this dark brown paint is that it is delivered in a so-called "eyedropper" jar in which 17 ml. acrylic paint. The "eyedropper" (or eye dropper) ensures that the amount of paint can be dosed very easily and the paint does not dry out as quickly. Of course it can always happen that the opening sometimes gets a bit clogged. You can easily solve this by clearing the opening again with a needle or a thin cocktail stick.
