The acrylic paint is intended to be applied with a brush to optimize the effect. It is non-toxic, but has a special effect that helps you paint your figures easily and with great results. This beige paint gives a direct result by not acting like a wash or ink, but just like Contrast Paint leaving a nice even layer of color and giving extra color in the deeper parts. Scale75 has developed the Instant Colors series to get all those unpainted figures beautifully on the game board in no time.
Scale 75 Instant Colors
With this beige paint you can get started on your model directly from the jar with a brush. Thinning is not necessary and with this method you paint quickly and effectively. You don't need to have enormous technology and it still looks great right away. The unique composition of this paint ensures that the highlights and shadows follow the figure and end up where they belong in a natural way. The beige paint thinks for you! Once the beige paint has dried, the color is permanent and water-resistant. Then add the other colors to the rest of the figure and a figure is completely ready in 30 minutes, where you normally work for at least 10 hours with base color, shadows, and highlights, blending, etc.
Now it is no longer necessary to spend 8 hours with 9 colors to get the perfect base color, highlights, shadows in color 1 and repeat the same for color 2, color 3 and color 4, etc. Just use 3 instant colors and your are done! The colors do the rest for you.
This new formula helps reduce the time it takes to paint a figure. You only need 1 coat to achieve a fantastic result. No long painting sessions, but ready in the blink of an eye. The Scale75 Instant Colors series has 48 colors that are perfect for almost any Fantasy Wargame or board game. That means that you don't need 50 shades of gray, green or blue, but can get a fantastic result with 2-3 colors.
Water, thinner or another medium is actually not necessary because you can use the paint straight from the jar. If you want more control, add some "Dispel Magic". This medium helps you to get the blends even more beautiful, or to dilute the color a bit if you find it too intense. Get started right away with this paint! Do not wait any longer! Don't make it difficult for yourself with complex techniques and don't spend too much money on huge amounts of colors. Start painting and in no time you can start playing your game with a great looking board or battlefield with figures!
